About The Course
This workshop is specifically designed for people managers, supervisors, and team leaders, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and respond to workplace harassment effectively. Recognizing that managers play a critical role in shaping workplace culture, the session focuses on building both legal awareness and leadership accountability.
Participants gain a clear understanding of their legal obligations under the PoSH Act, 2013, and what compliance entails in practice. The workshop also explores how to handle complaints with sensitivity, empathy, and neutrality—balancing procedural fairness with emotional intelligence. In addition, it highlights the crucial role that managers play in supporting the Internal Committee during inquiries, and in reinforcing a culture where respect, safety, and inclusion are non-negotiable.
By the end of the session, people managers are better prepared to act as the first line of defense against workplace harassment, not only by addressing issues proactively but by creating environments where such behavior is less likely to occur.
